About

I am an international full-time narrator/voice actor, past actor/director/theatre teacher of 12+ years, currently based in Hong Kong. I live with my partner and our two ginger cats and Boston Terrier.

After narrating 150+ audiobooks, I have been recognized with 6 professional reviews from Audiofile Magazine and Library journal, a Sultry Listeners nomination (2023), as well as an Audiofile Earphones Award (2024) and over 7000 followers across Instagram, Facebook, and Threads [combined]. I have directed 20+ stage shows and taught in Kuwait, Italy, Hong Kong, Tianjin and Shanghai, China.

Originally born in Canada on a border city with half of my family from the US (Ohio, Michigan, California), I grew up on a few different cultures and religions. Being mixed race and LGBTQIA2S+, I grew up accustomed selecting “other” on all kinds of forms and surveys. 

After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts Honor’s degree in Drama in Education & Community (2021) and a Bachelor of Education degree (2013; Drama Specialist Qualification with English Teaching Qualifications (2016), I moved abroad, first to China then the Middle East and then back to Hong Kong this time. I have since earned a Master of Education degree (2024).

So basically, I’m a globe trotting unicorn - there is little I haven’t experienced or don’t identify with. I have learned basic-to-conversational fluency in Mandarin Chinese, Arabic, French, and Italian, with refined pronunciation. 

I am at home in the unfamiliar, and love horror, comedy, romance, fantasy, K-12 (Children’s, Young Adult, Middle Grade) titles, nonfiction (memoir, history, business) and sci-fi; anything with big characters, ‘the feels’, and high stakes. It is always fun when I get to flaunt my character development, language and accent fluencies, when the text calls for it.

I am grateful to have figured out that love of literature, acting, travel, and different cultures has led me to this fulfilling, multimodal career where I am able to teach my passion, tell stories in multiple formats and make people feel seen or entertained. My core value is connection and that is laced through everything that I do.
